Accept Yourself

For total happiness, accept yourself as you are.

Your characteristics, positive or negative, are giving you an amazing identity.

You can change the negative characteristics and move in the direction of your dreams.

The positive characteristics are indicative of your core identity.

The negative ones provide contrast until you redirect them.

You gain your strength through redirection as you define your goals.

You discover what is holding you back and then you can ask for the help to change it.

Through inner listening, I have found definition of my problem, and simultaneously, the way to correct it.

The Universe does not leave you in a problem for very long.

It provides an answer right away which you can begin implementing with tiny steps.

You have to ask for the answer, though.

I keep measuring myself against the current “standard”, whatever that is, and falling short.

When I move into my Universe of originality and creativity, I am ecstatically happy.

I work on my projects and create beautiful things.

I see ideas and play with them.

It is my happiest aspect of myself.

Everything about me supports this core identity.

My awkwardness in social situations, my inability to relate to popular culture, the fact that I dont’ “get” certain references until much, much later, if at all.

During these periods of awkwardness, my mind is working on creative ideas.

I support myself by carrying a sketchbook to deal with the panic attacks which happen as I am not able to make normal connections.

I respond to the Universe’s direction to continue being creative anyway.

I am able to be in public places even though I am going through difficult emotional responses.

It is who I am and how I have learned to deal with being who I am.

It is okay to be uncomfortable and still be your wonderful self.
