Embrace the Upset

While I am feeling unbalanced by being upset, I cannot think.

My feeling of upset and imbalance leaves me shaken and ungrounded.

I know that I have a right to my peace of mind.

Operating from peace of mind, allows me to see what is important to me.

Is it more important to me to be shaken up by what just happened, or is it more important to find my way back to peace of mind?

I know how to ground myself.

I know what to do when I have been upset.

I know how to move myself back to peace.

I expand my view, just even a tiny bit.

I am not isolated, alone, abandoned, deserted.

I have contact with what is important to me.

I remember that my resources do not come from my immediate surroundings.

I can recreate my surroundings as I move myself back into peace of mind.

I take a deep breath.

Of course, I am connected to what is important to me.

I am loved, cherished, adored.

I have proved my knowledge of this over and over again.

I love me.

I love what I do.

I love my strengths and how they lead me to happiness.

This is where my happiness lies, in my strengths.

I have a strong character and it brings me happiness.

I appreciate my character.

I love who I am.

 I am back in my own mind, now, and I am grounded, happy, and peaceful.
