Listening for the Peace of Your True Nature

It is our nature to make decisions according to our best information at the time.

Sometimes we are rushed or delayed into making decisions.

I have found that it is best for me to listen within in order to gain clarity.

Recently, I finished a simple project that required lots of decisions over a long period of time.

While I was undecided, I waited.

Each time I came back to the project, I checked to see if I was ready to make a decision that I trusted.

Slowly, I tried different solutions, and waited.

The project evolved on its’ own time scale.

Finally, I was ready to take the final steps.

What I really love is the peace that is in this project.

Any time I am associated with it, I feel a sense of peace.

I did not rush myself.

I did not hurry past my doubts.

I allowed myself to take as much time as I needed to reach a conclusion that felt good every step of the way.

Sometimes I have to make a quick decision, and I am grateful to receive the clarity I need in order to make it.

I take my deep breath and listen within, and I trust what I receive in the moment.

If I need to take another deep breath and listen again, I am ready to do that.

Over the period of time that it has taken for my inner listeng to become a habit, I have been able to compare the results between types of decision-making.

My experiences and opinions and even the opinions of others can only offer so much guidance.

What I can really trust is the Guidance which comes from within.

I am grateful for the patience of the Universe while I have been figuring this out.

My life is more secure by putting it on this firm footing.
