Your Diamond Mind –
The Power of My Voice
The poet, John Roedel, remarks that each word has its own energy.
Certainly, the tone of voice we listen to, has its own energy.
Many workshop leaders in the field of self-improvement talk about the power of words and the language we use to speak to ourselves.
I am grateful, that through writing, I am able to hear my voice.
I am able to consider what I am saying through my words.
Recently, I realized that when I speak, my tone carries whatever is going on emotionally within me.
As I am working to create more inner peace for myself, this is one more space I have become aware of.
The space of my voice.
As I slow down to practice inner peace throughout my day, I can slow down to consider my voice and what I would like it to convey.
My goal is to practice expressing more patience and kindness through my voice.
I like the idea of slowing down even more in order to hear the emotions behind my words.
As I feel tensions leaving my body as I address long held fears, I can lessen the tensions leaving my voice.
I have demonstrated that I am in a secure and safe place.
I live in beautiful surroundings.
I can trust where I live.
I am surrounded by respectful practices toward women.
I have been retraining my body to remember my new safety.
My habitual tensions have been replaced by more relaxation and normality.
My written words address my new found safety and trust.
Surely, my voice can learn this new way of expression.
Words are so very beautiful and powerful in what they convey.
Conveyed as art, poetry, the written and spoken word, a new energy can be released which is consistently uplifting to all who experience it.
That is my goal.
