The Way to Comfort

I am grateful to find comfort.

Everyone I know is grateful to find comfort.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the planet, is grateful to find comfort.


I find comfort when I write.

It begins with the necessity to calm down.

Sometimes, I am so upset and so is my body.

I sit still and listen for an idea.

After a while, there is a feeling which starts to calm me down.

Each idea I receive adds to my inner peace.

Sometimes I have to take the first, tiny, uncomfortable step, for there to be room for the comfort to start to flow.

That can be a struggle.

I know now to just keep sitting and let the discomfort wash over me.

When I am finally able to face my fear, I can take the first tiny step.

That opens a door for me.

I am grateful that I have learned to share what comforts me.

We all face so much disturbing news.

Inner listening is a source of inner peace, once we quiet all the noise.

That is where the comfort begins.

Everything we do from the feeling of inner peace dilutes the fear around us.

We can add to the comfort of the world through our tiny steps of comfort.

Our ability to listen within counteracts the pressure from without.

We have right to think clearly and calmly.

We can live in comfort through a life filled with calm and clarity.
