Practice Peace in Your Household
The peace that you embody through your active inner listening comes out in all the right ways.
It takes practice to remain on course instead of reacting to the agitation around us all.
It is worth the time for deep spiritual study.
We move with more grace when we are sure of our peaceful nature.
We are active in wise and comforting ways.
Our routines bring peace to our physical surroundings.
As we actively cultivate our higher nature, we have calmer responses to the needs in our household.
We anticipate many of those needs by our routines.
We add to the happiness and peace of our households through spending time together doing peaceful things.
We read aloud, engage in discussions, play card and board games.
We cook delicious snacks and meals together.
We embrace all the daily needs in achievable tiny steps.
We feel the peace as our day comes together in a peaceful way.
We deal with the problems which arise in a peaceful and wise manner.
We can look beyond our immediate and familiar resources for better ideas and practices.
We can share them in a reassuring way.
It all comes from having contact with our deeply peaceful nature.
This is the essence of our being.
We have a right to express it in effective ways.
When there is so much going on that it is overwhelming, we have a right to withdraw into quiet contemplation until we receive our answers of peace.
In the meantime, our routines carry on.
We continue our peaceful process of rigorous listening, until an answer surfaces and we can put it into action.
This is how we practice and expand our peace within our household.
