Becoming your own hero

Loved Cherished Adored –

Becoming your own hero

I have admired people who became heroes as they dealt with the problems which came up in their own lives.

Mountain climbers, (“Three Cups of Tea”), environmentalists, (“Silent Spring”),  teachers, (“Drawing with Children”), those people who move us into greater awareness.

My own journey is teaching me that I am a hero to myself as I overcome the problems which come up in my own life.

I am learning that I can create a new environment as I create new language to describe myself.

I am creating a new self-concept as I my put new description into practice.

“I love me” was the first vital new statement.

Then I gave myself permission to discover what I love to do.

That helped me align words, feelings, and action.

I do many things purely for the love of doing them.

This has opened the door to a new career as well as a new way to think of myself.

We come here equipped with a purpose.

When all else fails, we become impelled to discover it.

Instead of contracting, this expands our life.

We are guided into what is most important to the Universe about us.

We are led into the discovery of our relationship to our Higher Power.

When I am in a new place, I relate to it differently.

I am not caught up in my daily routine.

I can listen to my inner voice.

This speaks more and more clearly to me.

I accept the new shape of my life.

I do the work which is required of me to fulfill my purpose.

I am uniquely poised to do this as I respect my relationship with the Universe.

This is my heroic journey.
