Comfort #3 – Comfort of self-compassion.
I feel the comfort of self-compassion when I become really honest with myself.
I no longer pressure myself about the past.
I slow down into the present moment.
I do not allow myself to worry about the future.
My life is about where I am coming from right now.
It is not a prediction based on elements from the past.
I give myself room to rethink elements of my life.
Of course, with my knowledge today, I could do them differently.
Without that knowledge,I can be compassionate about using what I did have.
I can release myself from endless rounds of unproductive thinking.
I can breathe deeply and peacefully.
I can find a moment of deep peace and stay there.
I can cultivate the peaceful moments.
I can extend them.
I can compassionately give myself as much time in peaceful meditation and reflection as I desire.
When I feel completely at home in the peace, I am in a good place to make decisions.
When I release myself from judgement and evaluation, I have fresh opportunities.
I am looking at my situation from a completely different viewpoint.
I include all the elements I need in order to be successful in service.
My self-compassion gives me insight into the needs of others.
I give myself quiet moments.
I give myself peace.
I let my feelings flow into the space of non-judgement.
I have room to be excellent.
I can find my wholeness in the comfort of self-compassion.
