Comfort #16 – Comfort of excellence.
I am grateful for a sense of excellence which entered my life at an early age.
I learned how to practice music in a methodical manner.
It laid the foundation for the muscle movements to play an instrument.
This discipline created the power to play fluently.
I have been able to apply these principles to anything I want to learn.
Consistent, rigorous study is the key to excellence.
Practice.
Whether I was memorizing math formulas or dates in history, I used the principles of repetition.
When I began learning technology, an area completely unfamiliar to me, I read and watched and learned the new vocabulary through repetition.
Finally, I was able to trust myself to take a tiny step.
I appreciate the practice to become fluent.
I realize the necessity and value of doing the work carefully.
I do not have to go back to make so many corrections.
I can live and work at an uplifting level.
I am not dragged down by neglect of details.
I know that I will put the effort together to be excellent.
It is part of my character.
Excellence flows and shows up in my life and activities.
It is a constant practice of refining and strengthening.
A habit of excellence allows me to focus and concentrate my efforts.
I always know I will do my best work.
I am dependable and trustworthy.
I attract the help and resources that I need in order to be excellent.
I follow through on the work in every detail.
I am grateful for the comfort and practice of excellence.
