Meditation Drawing 3.49 Balanced
There are so many demands on us that we have to choose to maintain a balanced life.
Over-caring for others interferes with our own self-care.
We must feed our own soul before we have something to give to others.
My view is balanced when I honor my priorities.
My day begins with inner listening.
As I listen, I am led to take the tiny steps which make up my day.
They are orderly and harmonious.
Anything which does not belong in my day is excluded.
I have learned to distinguish between what belongs and what does not.
If I feel overwhelmed, it does not belong.
If there is a sense of confusion or hurry, it does not belong.
If there is a sense of urgency from someone else, it does not belong.
I feel most satisfied when I do not deviate from my course.
I maintain my happiness and satisfaction.
I am fulfilled.
I have learned that my balanced life is full of happiness.
It is full of what I love to do.
It feels timeless living in this kind of balance.
I move effortlessly from one thing to the next.
Each step is part of a gentle flow.
I get done what is needed.
I have room for creativity and conversation.
I have time for reflection. I can take leisurely meals.
I can enjoy my surroundings.
It is wonderful to care so much for myself, that I keep in balance.
