MD 4.2 Count

Count what you are doing as important, because you are worthy.

Your daily commitment to excellence enables you to serve.

Your devotion to service is your consistent contribution to society and civilization.

You can count your stuff, your age, your friends, your accomplishments.

You can count on your daily habit of inner listening.

This will take you where you need to be and occupy your time with what is most important.

You may have a day of reflection.

You may have a day of running errands smoothly.

You may have a day of creativity.

What you can count on, is that you will be contributing to peace.

Your inner listening launches you with a feeling of peace which goes into the atmosphere all around you.

Despite the confusion and chaos reported by the news cycles, there are underlying moments of peace.

The more we pay attention to these, the less overwhelm we will feel.

We will keep disrupting and interrupting the feeling of getting carried away by emotional upheaval.

We will add to the peace.

Many thousands of people are doing this.

We are seeing the results in the calm we are adding to our own lives.

This shows up in our excellent work, family organization, calm during our commute and while standing in line.

Every time we are not impatient, do not get angry or agitated, we are adding to the peace.

Every time we appreciate someone’s artwork, compliment someone on how they are dressed, hold the door, offer encouragement, we are adding to the peace.

This is an uplifting, spiritually mental process and it is available to us all the time.

We have much to offer and we can count on doing it.
