Meditations and Affirmations 2.3 – Pause, for peace
Peace comes in the little pauses we take when we do not respond to harrassments.
As we take our first deep breath, we give ourselves a moment of clarity.
We can think towards a peaceful solution in our daily life.
We do not react in traffic.
We do not pressure others.
We do not create a crisis for ourselves or others by being disrespectful.
We pause to allow room for peace.
The little peaces multiply throughout the day until we can tell we are having a good day.
We defuse, de-escalate and generally disappoint disruptive forces.
We prefer kindness and consideration, both to receive it and to give it.
The little moment, the pause which allows someone to go first, adds to the peace.
It is everyday peace.
Politeness in line and when interacting with others adds to the peace.
We can be impatient, but it is more productive to be patient.
We can give ourselves a moment to remember an uplifting affirmation.
We can start a conversation with someone else who is in line.
We can slow down our breathing to relieve tension.
There are many little ways to pause for peace.
It is a conscious practice to add peace to our day.
It is considerate of our body to practice peace.
Peace lets us move into joy.
Peace lets us move into appreciation.
Peace gives us time to look at our surroundings and to be conscious of how we are acting.
We add to the beauty of our community by pausing for peace.
Mulitiplying our peace creates harmonious community.
