• The Human Race

    The Human Race

It is wonderful to realize that there is only one race, the human race.

We have everything in common with each other, including needs and solutions.

Starting with the physical environment, we all live on the same planet.

I am always impressed with the story of George Washington Carver, who came up with so many solutions.

His deep appreciation of the beauty of Nature gave him his perspective, not the times he was living in.

His ability to discover and share what he observed gave him the ability to create abundance in  agriculture.

He benefitted others far more than they benefitted him.

Overcoming the handicaps of blindness and deafness through the devoted work of her tutor, Anne Sullivan, gave Helen Keller the ability to benefit others of all races.

The seed saving initiative developed by Dr. Vandiva Shiva is benefitting the entire human race.

Nelson Mandela’s resistance to apartheid in South Africa, even though he spent decades in  jail, benefitted all those who were being hurt by it, of all races.

We may be curious about a particular aspect of industry.

Botanical Colors, a natural dye company started by Kathy Hattori, is benefitting the entire human race, through education and its’ products.

As we listen for personal solutions, we are contributing to the upliftment of the human race.

Tama Kieves focused on creating a life she loves and wrote about it after facing despair in her highly educated profession in law.

We see the results, first in our own life, then, in the lives of others.

Nancy Swisher is helping women develop their own voice as a result of searching for hers.

We may be drawn to a group which helps people take steps toward healing in their own lives.

Janet Laird hosts Art for Insight, introducing techniques for managing trauma through art and writing.

We may be drawn to a group which practices high ideals.

Dave Huston started Curious Knights of Coimbra, Portugal, a service organization which picks up trash  in his adopted city.

We may create ways to support people in healing their own life.

I create weekly series of art and affirmations which directs my focus on a healing vocabulary to redirect my own life.

You can see my work at www.shareinspirationandpeace.com  and on FB at Inspired Practices.

We all have valuable ways to contribute to the well-being of the human race, when we listen within for an uplifting idea.

  • Listening for the Solution

    Listening For the Solution

I can listen for a solution.

Everyone I know can listen for a solution.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the planet, can listen for a solution.

    ———-

Right now, right where you are, you can listen for a solution.

You do not have even to be knowledgeable about the problem in order to desire a solution.

You can offer support to the knowledgeable people, simply by acknowledging that there is a solution.

That relieves a tiny bit of the pressure as people look for a solution.

I love reading about the solutions in “Drawdown”, by Paul Hawken.

His book collects the conclusions of experts in their fields who have collaborated with one another to find solutions.

I love to acknowledge the fact that so many solutions exist.

This helps to create a climate for implementing them.

We are mislead by conclusions which make us feel stuck.

    There is always a solution.

Solutions are available on a personal level and they are available on a world-wide level and everything in between.

There are always knowledgeable and inspired people who find solutions.

When we begin to implement the solutions which are available to us, we help create an atmosphere which supports solutions.

We begin to see their results and how they spread throughout our communities.

We see life improve as we implement solutions.

We enjoy seeing the results for everyone as we implement solutions which are meant to benefit everyone.

Steps which move toward solutions create more and more possibilities.

We lift the level of expectancy and well-being as we create more solutions.

  • Solutions Find You

    Solutions Find You

When you are desparately looking for a solution, the Universe is aware of this.

Even while you are caught up in the despair and desperation and fear, there is a solution.

    You cannot hear it, though.

Your one deep breath opens up the lines of commnication.

Your pause, as you take your first deep breath, brings in a moment of calm.

In that moment, you can glimpse the solution.

The key to finding the solution to any problem is that first deep breath.

You create room for the solution as you carve out a small space of peace.

In that moment, the despair and desperation and fear do not take up all the room in your thought.

You can create more space for the solution with each deep breath of peace you draw.

This is the greatest challenge, to be able to think beyond the despair, desperation and fear.

Each breath of peace takes you in a different direction.

You are able to follow the line of calm breaths to a place where you can feel the directives.

At that point, you will know what the tiny step is.

When you take it, you have entered the space of the solution.

You can choose to spend more time there.

You can cultivate your peace through calming breaths.

Those around you will feel the difference and be drawn to the peace they desire.

The peace you share will ignite the feeling of peace in others.

The  feeling of peace will spread even though it does not make sense from an outside view.

The feeling of peace comes from wtihin.

You have your solution once you choose to listen for peace and calm, even when it does not make sense.

Take a deep breath of peace right now.

You are adding to the peace of the world.

  • Grateful for all the steps

    Grateful for all the steps

I am grateful for the miracle of being lifted out of depression.

I am grateful for the time this has taken, so that I could learn all the necessary steps.

I am grateful to learn the steps of maintaining my inner peace.

I am grateful that I am able to share these steps with others.

I am grateful for the opportunity to help others heal.

The many things I did not accomplish showed me the costs of trauma.

I am grateful to be able to add to the health and well-being of others who are facing the same frustrations and pain.

I am grateful to find my mission and purpose and strength.

I am grateful to learn that appearances can be deceptive.

I am grateful to learn how to see through these appearances and to offer encouragement.

I am grateful to learn that even really tough situations can be healed.

I am grateful to learn patience with myself so that I can be patient with others.

I am grateful to learn the powerful effects of self-compassion.

I am grateful to learn that it was not my fault.

I am grateful to learn that I can take responsibility for my healing.

I am grateful to learn that taking responsibility is an attracting factor.

    Solutions begin showing up.

I am grateful to learn that time, whether it looks fast or slow, is not a determining factor.

I am grateful to learn that tiny steps are effective.

    I practice taking tiny steps.

My tiny steps build a new foundation.

I am grateful to see new possibilities open up for me.

I discover there are many new life-paths.

I discover that I am not stuck.

I discover that I can change and I can change my circumstances.

I am grateful to discover the new possibilities for me in a new life.

  • What I am listening for

    What I Am Listening For

    My day begins with listening.

I tune into the deep peace.

My mind rests in this state.

    I breathe.

    I listen some more.

I become fully present to the listening.

I am filled with deep peace.

    There is nothing else.

This creates space for the message.

    It is a feeling.

Into the feeling comes an impulse.

An impulse may be a thought of love.

It may be the idea to take a tiny step.

It may be the answer to a question.

It may alert me to something new.

I stay in the feeling until it is complete.

Then I take the action I was given.

Or I wait until the next listening time.

    It  is a repeating cycle.

It takes me wherever I need to go in a timely way.

    It is always available.

It is my most trusted way to receive direction.

It is always a calming process.

I can tap into it at any time during the day or night.

This is a Presence I can always count on.

  • It is coming; it is here.

It is Coming, It is Here

With the wonderful weather change comes encouragement about the fact of change.

Once again, I consider the idea of seasons.

Change happens in the weather from local, global, and planetary influences.

Change happens in our individual lives with influences that are also near and far-reaching.

I have to remind myself not to despair.

Not to allow myself the negative productivity of frustration.

Progress is a requirement for those who search.

It is coming, it is here.

All at once, over and over again.

It is coming, it is here.

    A breath and then continuity.

It is coming, it is here.

    I listen, I act.

It is coming, it is here.

    I take a break, I am refreshed.

It is coming, it is here.

    It is.

  • Renewal

    Loved Cherished Adored –

    Renewal

    Renewal of strength.

We can all keep our strength up by practicing what is important to us.

With repeated challenges, we must have repeated rebuttals.

Our strength will increase and we will overcome the challenges.

    Renewal of trust in ourselves.

We have the ability to learn new things.

    We can figure it out.

We can get help and guidance.

    Renewal of attention to intuition.

    Trust being alone.

That is where the purest guidance comes from.

It is not influenced by opinions, including our own.

    Renewal of calm.

    Slow down.

It is all happening in the  Universe’s timing.

    Let everything be prepared.

    Renewal of desire.

Trust the ideas which keep coming to you.

It is part of  your partnership wwith the Universe.

    Take your tiny steps.

    Renewal of completion.

Notice the idea which keeps coming to you the most.

Take all the tiny steps as far as you can.

Wait and listen inwardly some more.

    Renewal of self-care.

    Repeat all the above.

  • Listening for Wholeness

    Listening for Wholeness

I am listening for what makes me whole.

Everyone I know is listening for what makes them whole.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the world, is listening for what makes them whole.

    ——-

The first thing I acknowledge is self-respect.

I honor the work I have done to become  whole.

I am grateful for the opportunity to conquer the challenges to my wholeness.

I have overcome emotional disturbances to my wholeness.

I  have overcome physical disturbances to my wholeness.

I have overcome financial disturbances to my  wholeness.

To do this, I first accept my relationship to Source.

I find my wholeness by listening within.

The Guidance I experience leads me to take good steps.

    It counters the negative influences.

I can trust the tiny steps which make me whole.

I take my steps no matter how I feel.

I trust my intuition, not my opinion.

Listening for wholeness assures me that it is here.

I can see it if I practice it.

I can be whole if I am not distracted.

I can be whole if I stay my course.

I listen consistently and make adjustments when I am guided to do so.

    I encounter surprising answers.

Unexpected turns lead to positive outcomes.

    My wholeness welcomes me onward.

I am grateful to discover this way to live in wholeness.

  • What a parent can share

    What a Parent Can Share

My first step each day is starting my day with calm.

I have an orderly routine for myself.

I have prepared for my day.

I have helped my children prepare for their day.

Together, we begin our mornings in calm.

We take our calm with us when we step out the door.

That is our contribution to the day.

When disturbing things agitate us, we choose to return to calm.

When we do not know what to do, we listen within.

We take our deep breath and let it calm us.

We do this until we feel the calm within.

Then we listen for the tiny step.

We feel Guidance through our connection to calm.

The same way we see our parent listen, we can listen.

We can take a moment to feel calm and happy.

We can walk away from a situation which agitates us.

We can choose to move into calm.

We can look up with calm radiance.

We can feel what to do and when to do it.

Our day is not run by bullies.

It is not run by stress.

We have a Power within that assures us.

We feel our complete trust in this Power.

We are surrounded by this Power throughout our day.

We bring calm into our day and have it return to us over and over.

We bring calm home with us.
