  • Loyal

    Meditation Drawing 4.38 Loyal –

To be loyal is to hold on to your deep core beliefs.

These guide your actions and your evaluation of the world around you.

You are loyal to what is familiar to you.

You are loyal to what you trust.

You are loyal to your routines.

You are loyal to the institutions which you participate in.

When you gain new information or insight, your loyalties may change.

You have challenged your deep core beliefs and this may cause you to shift.

Remaining loyal despite new information stifles the possibilities of growth.

Taking in a wider viewpoint allows you to weigh new information against the old and familiar.

I have changed my viewpoint radically a few times in my life.

I have been amazed by the contrast between what I have learned and what I was taught.

It required a tough assessment of what has been going on in my life.

This has rocked the core of what I believed growing up and what I have learned in different phases of my life.

I had to adjust my behavior and my judgement.

I have a more generous view of some aspects of the world which I was unaware of.

I have removed myself from participation in other aspects.

I am committed to well-being for all.

    That is my greatest loyalty.

    We are all worthy.

I am loyal to the Universe which has created us all.

  • Attentive and joyful

Joy #23 Attentive and joyful –

When we attend to the little things, we build a foundation for joy.

We remove chaos from our mind by focusing on this one clear fact, “I love me.”

We remove chaos from our home through detailed and consistent routines.

We give ourselves the self-care we need in order to remain relaxed and peaceful.

We build in the joys of daily life through careful attention to details.

We make room for creativity and imagination when we are attentive during our meditation.

We consistently hear guidance in the little and big events of our lives when we listen within.

We are joyful about what we do in a mindful manner.

We do what we need to at a graceful and unhurried pace.

We take time to consider our next steps.

We observe the efffects of our previous steps.

We make gentle corrections to our course of action.

We treat ourselves with tenderness and understanding.

We are willing to give ourselves the opportunity for multiple course corrections.

As we observe our path, we can be attentive to repetitious behavior and either endorse or change it.

We jump into new activities with creativity and imagination.

    We enjoy our spontaneous explorations.

We love our new experiences exuberantly.

We gather our resources happily and expectantly.

    We play.

    We live in creative ecstasy.

We pay attention to what we enjoy the most.

    We make more of it.

    We trust our intuitive life-design.

We endorse ourselves in every aspect.

  • Living Your Life Right

Pebbles of Peace Pathway 4.35 – Living Your Life Right

If you are able to carve out an oasis of peace for yourself, a breath, a moment, in the middle of a busy day, you are living your life right.

When it is possible, you give yourself five minutes at a time.

After doing this for several weeks, you may realize you are becoming addicted to your practice of peace.

You may want to expand it slightly or increase its frequency.

Stopping to give yourself peace is the most pleasant and important thing you can do for yourself.

You will find that it infuses itself into your life in many more ways.

  • I love the way  peace appears in my life

Love Note 1.23 – I love the way  peace appears in my life

    No pressure, no hurry.

    I am where I am.

    It is a good place.

I feel the Presence of a deep and calming peace.

It is with me always, whatever I do.

It is a Source on which I draw.

This peace permeates my every action as it permeates my every thought.

I behold it and it guides me.

It fills me and I express it.

It creates a flow from idea to manifestation.

All the resources are where I need them.

    I connect with them effortlessly.

I listen, I note the presence of an idea, I take steps to express it and it is received.

I am where I need to be.

I have a community of support.

I move gently and go where my destination requires me to be.

    I simply am, present.

  • Wonder

    Meditation Drawing 4.37 Wonder –

We can approach each day with a sense of wonder.

As we step away from the news cycles and advertising, we can hear what is within us.

We can appreciate the immeasurable happiness we receive through our inner communion.

Gentle, beautiful observations add wonder to our day.

We feel our alignment with the uplifting aspects of life.

This is a moment of supreme attraction.

As we separate ourselves from the push and pull of the day, we feel the deep presence of peace.

This is a wonderful, attracting force.

We can choose to follow it.

We no longer wonder what to do in a confused and agitated state.

We have our peace within, and that restores our sense of wonder and appreciation.

The gentleness and tenderness of wonder nurtures us.

We take a deep breath and pause.

This interrupts the wave of concern and confusion all around us.

    It is no longer internalized.

We are filling up the space with wonder and wholeness.

We leave room for more appreciation of the beauty around us.

Even in the midst of chaos, we can find a moment of beauty and peace.

    This is a powerful act.

It takes courage and strength to resist the pull of fear and dread.

We can pause, take in a moment of wonder, and think clearly.

We are being given sure and certain tiny steps to take.

These come to us throughout our day.

The more we pay attention to them, they will guide us to safety and health and happiness.

Trust this fact, as it is part of the progress of wonder to which you are committed.

  • Alertness and joy

A Year Of Joy #23 – Alertness and joy

When we are alert to what we love to do, we feel joyous.

This feeling prevents us from getting involved with what we do not enjoy.

Even if we are required to do things we do not enjoy for a while, we can lift ourselves into a better quality of life.

Because we can identify what we love to do, we can take the tiny steps to do it.

The tiny steps add up to big steps as we become alert to take them consistently.

We watch for openings to be excellent.

We show up in a timely manner.

We listen for intutive ideas from within.

We find ways to solve problems which are creative and which provide good value.

We are always in tune for good ideas.

We are able to execute them and bring harmony into our teamwork.

We are alert to opportunities to serve.

This gives us more space to be uplifting and joyous.

Our tiny steps can always add joy to our purpose to live well.

We can see it happening over and over again.

It is a wonderful feeling to be alert to joy.

We can include it more and more consistently in everything we do.

Sometimes we have to slow down to make room for joy

We can watch for those opportunities as well.

    Little joys are our secret.

We infuse them into the steps we take to become excellent.

We know that we can repeat our joy everytime we master a new step.

It feels good to become masterful in our abilities.

    It is a celebration.

We can be alert to the joy which brings us into celebration.

  • Expanding Peace

Pebbles of Peace Pathway 4.34 – Expanding Peace

It turns out that the first step is establishing peace for myself.

I have found out how to do that by deep breaths, quietness, and the new skill of listening within.

The next step was, that once I could maintain the peace within or return to it consistently, I began to discover the peace without.

Now that I have been practicing peace more and more consciously, I find that it is extending farther and farther around me.

In fact, I don’t see an end to it.

As far as I can see, I feel peace.

A series of talks by author Joseph Chilton Pearce introduced me to the idea of the “torus”.

The idea that there is a three-dimensional ring of energy which we generate around us is fascinating to me.

I like the idea that the energy I am generating around me now is peace.

I like the idea that I can maintain it or find it again when I need to.

I like the idea that it is expanding around me.

It is such a worthwhile endeavor.

I can’t think of anything more important or fulfilling.
