Healing Messages 1.47 – The Call of Spirit

When we are given the opportunity to do something uplifting, we must take it.

When we have the opportunity for reconciliation, we must take it.

When we are given the opportunity to meet on new ground, we must take it.

Every time we have the opportunity to see something in a higher way, we are being called by Spirit.

When we bow to convenience, we are living in our habitual way.

When we act based on circumstances, we are being distracted from a higher way.

When we weigh the consequences, based on our current situation, we are remaining in our current mode of thought.

Spirit’s call is constant and It asserts Itself at certain times for certain good results.

We learn to be ready for those calls when they occur through our response to crisis.

The effort we make when faced with tragedy or the need to prevent danger to a child, is the effort we need to exert when Spirit calls.

Can we do something for someone else out of their need?

Or do we only do what is convenient for ourselves?

Can we do something to show our respect and high regard for someone else’s work?

Or do we only see things in terms of our current commitments?

What does it take to go beyond ourselves and to draw on Spirit’s resources?

As we do this in times of danger or crisis, we tune ourselves to Spirit’s frequency.

We gain knowledge of resources beyond our own.

If Spirit is there when we need help, what is it like to explore the world of Spirit?

We begin to explore the possibilities for constant communion.

What is different in our day to day life when we consider the world of Spirit?

If Spirit is always present, how do we stay aware of It?

How do we maintain our relationship to this Power?

These are the questions we need to ask in order to find those answers.

Our rigorous efforts to listen within lead us to them.

Healing Message 1.11 – Filling in the Void

We have a need to be fulfilled.

When something empties us out and we are devoid of the support and love we have known in the past, we need to listen within.

We sit quietly and listen until a message, a feeling, comes.

Then we know, we feel, we have a sense of, what to do.

We fill in the void in our own life, by helping someone else fill in the void in their life.

We are meant to be fulfilled.

Not as an indulgence on our part, not as a party time.

We are meant to find our purpose.

We are meant to discover a different, higher way to live.

We are meant to serve.

What do we have within ourselves that is of value to someone else?

Is there comfort we can provide? Reassurance? Encouragement?

Each tiny step we take to discover our purpose opens up a way to provide this for someone else.

It fills up the void in our life and it occupies the space which fear and devastation previously occupied.

When there is no more room for devastation and fear, we halt the destruction which is going on around us.

We do it in little ways, many tiny steps.

When this becomes a universal  practice, there will be no more occasion for destruction.

We will all be filling up the void over and over again so that there is so much commitment and happiness, that the greed and fear that ambition and greed fed on is simply not available.

There is nothing to fuel the fire of emptiness and cruelty.

We are so convinced through our service and the uplifting effect it has, that we continuously dissolve the emptiness through fulfilling service.

There is a way to live besides in fragility and terror.

When we live in that confidence, anything less backs down.
