Comfort #42 Comfort of living in creative ecstasy
I am so grateful to discover many creative aspects of living.
One of my favorite forms is moving from one creative project to another.
I have set up my studio to include sewing, drawing, writing, and weaving.
I have a routine which starts with listening within for inspirational ideas to write about.
The writing powers the art.
I take breaks with sewing and, more occasionally, weaving.
I am comforted by having so many colorful projects around me.
After getting caught up in the business of work and family for many years, creativity is very valued and precious to me.
It gives me room to relax.
My mind goes into a different dimension when I am arranging colors or shapes on paper or fabric.
I can explore ideas without words or with words.
I enjoy the rhythm that creativity brings into my life.
I love discovering that the work I love to do allows me to live in creative ecstasy.
I get to explore new media.
I am uplifited by every new series of art and affirmations I create.
I speak about myself and my work with a completely different vocabulary.
It brings me light and happiness.
I share inspiration and peace.
I receive feedback that lets me know others are feeling the same upliftment that comes to me.
I am so grateful for the way this connects me to work I love and contributes to uplifting others.
The world feels the effect of every tiny step we take to add to our happiness.
We remove ourselves from negative reactions when we take a deep breath and let it flood our body with peace.
When we engage in taking in ideas which are uplifting and give us happiness, we can actually feel it in our body.
We comfort ourselves through creating an uplifting life, and it helps those around us, as well.

Pebble of Peace Pathway – Gelli Plate Art #1 –
Peacefully Following Through
Learning to go within helps establish an unfailing practice for finding answers.
Taking the steps as directed from within always fulfills the need.
When I get stuck, I am learning to go within, without fail, to find the next step.
This always gives me a peaceful solution.
Even though requirements may change daily and even hourly, I can always find the peaceful solution I seek by going within.
Since I have received my inspiration from within, it is natural that I should find the ways to share it most effectively from the same Source.
It is a comfort to know that, while I reason my way through all the possibilities, there is still only one really great answer, an answer of peace, from within.

Pebbles of Peace Pathways 3.49 What will you do with your peace?
When you get peace, what will you do with your peace?
Will you be kinder to people?
Will you watch for ways to help people who need help?
Will you contribute to inclusive, uplifting community action?
Will you just be glad that at least people are calming down around you?
Will you be glad that nothing is happening that is threatening your well-being?
Will you separate yourself from those who are still dealing with their problems?
What good will the peace do for you?
What good will the peace do for your neighbors?
Do you know your neighbors?
Will you get to know them with the coming of peace?
What will change for you?
If peace is just more convenient for you, nothing will have changed for you.
You will not be conscious of peace.
You may notice the streets are quieter, but you will not be aware of any underlying meaning to the peace.
If that is the case, you will not be one of the reasons for the peace.
You must consciously participate in the bringing of peace.
You must be consciously aware of maintaining your own inner peace in order for the peace to last, for it to have any meaning whatsoever.
Otherwise, it is just a relief, and no personal growth or awareness has occurred.
You must participate.
You must wake up and be aware.
You must keep and grow the peace if it is to remain.
You must include every single person in your community in the peace.
You must include every single person in all the communities in order to live in the peace.

Meditation Drawing 3.39 – Normal
Let our normal behavior be full of kindness.
When we are in our right mind, we are naturally kind.
When we are frustrated and exhausted and angry, our tempers are short.
With a generation of poor nutrition and family pressures, our bodies and our society are out of balance.
As we pause and take a deep breath, we can begin the process of reinstating calm in our lives.
It is natural to be calm.
When we are calm, we can make good choices.
We can notice where things are out of proportion and we can take steps to put them back.
Our calm, clear thinking lets us evaluate where our food comes from.
Historically, food came from local sources.
Even during World War II, people grew their own food in Victory Gardens.
There is plenty of of lawn space to grow food.
Historically, people worked close to home.
Adults and children came home for lunch.
There are so many opportunities to work “remotely”, i.e., from home.
It is interesting now that the term “remote” refers to being away from the office.
With fewer pressures on transportation to work, many people can enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
We have gradually moved away from spending time with our families to spending time away from them.
We can move back to precious family time.
We are most fulfilled by spending time with those we love.
When we are not under so much pressure for school activities, we can spend more time together.
Kind attention to each other lifts off pressure and frustration from neglect.
It is normal for our time together to be nurturing and kind.

Comfort #25 – Comfort of discernment.
Beyond the five senses, there is a feeling of intuition.
I love being able to move into a place of quiet, inner listening.
I love being able to receive a message through discernment.
It is a persistent, gentle feeling of presence.
In it, I know what to do.
Discerning where I need to be is a great comfort.
Discerning when to take action comes with certainty.
Receiving a message of deep spiritual meaning happens through discernment.
It takes a persistent quiet to signal my commitment to listening.
Then the Universe knows I am ready to receive the message it has for me.
It is a subtle feeling, but becomes easier to recognize through practice.
Our intuition and our discernment come from the same place.
It is how the Infinite identifies us.
When we identify ourselves in that way, we establish our connection to the Infinite.
We discern our relationship to our Higher Power.
We train ourselves to recognize divine Presence by persistent, commited listening within.
The comfort of daily, consistent practice assures us that we are able to discern how our needs are being supplied.
We see them manifested in practical, effective and timely ways.
Living in the comfort of discernment inspires others to listen within.
Discernment is a practical resource which is always available through listening within.

Life-Path Story Mazes – #25 Events combine in my life to create something much bigger.
My tiny steps take me nearer my goals.
As I expand my skills in many directions, all my tiny steps converge into a bigger picture.
I am overjoyed as I see how the many elements of my life touch others.
The integrity and excellence behind every skill combine to create a community of uplifting projects.
The goal of well-being for all allows me to consider unique solutions.
Imagining what well-being for all feels like guides me to find ways to eliminate obstacles.
Consciously embracing the worth of each of us draws those who desire to expand their skills.
We all move in harmony within our community.
We are all willing to do whatever creates well-being for all of us.
We learn our new skills, we practice our old skills.
We all share ways of living in an uplifting and inclusive and expansive way.
Our attitude of inclusion eliminates fear.
Our philosophy of the worth of each of us allows us all to contribute in ways most suited to us.
We naturally intertwine our skills to create a beautiful tapestry of living.
We notice what is left out and supply it.
We all learn how to do multiple things which are necessary to sustain a harmonious and productive community.
We address relationships with honesty and uplifiing integrity, while seeking good solutions for all.
We engage in good business practices through cooperation.
We create healthy nutrition for our bodies.

Meditation Drawing 3.38 – Thoughtful
I am thoughtful about the action which I choose to take.
In my innermost being, I know what I love to do.
It has not always been possible to do it, but my deep desire has brought it to the forefront of my life.
In fact, I have not even known how to articulate my desire, but now that it is happening, it feels just right.
I had always wanted to visit Europe, and now I live here.
I have felt a deep desire for everyone in the world to get along, and I am seeing many actions which are being taken by people of like-mind.
What we deeply feel and think about takes form.
We are led to take the steps which place us in the most meaningful position for us.
I did not know that I would become an inspiration writer at the time I had those early desires.
Now, I can share the ideas which come to me as well as learn about the ideas which come to others.
I am learning about Eco-villages, FiberShed, Community Gardens, cooperatives, Transition Towns, co-housing.
I am learning about School Gardens, Farmers Markets, and all kinds of sustainability classes.
I have been going through a list of sustainability skills for several years and taking classes.
Several friends have expressed interest in my Sustainability Skills List and I have shared it.
All of these actions express thoughtfulness about the environment and how to protect it.
We are moving through a transitional time from taking many things for granted to becoming conscious of our role as a citizen of Earth.
So many individuals and organizations have paved the way.
Now, we can be involved through more thoughtful action.
From many little personal steps to contributing to voting with our feet and our money, we are able to move in a more thoughtful direction.
It is satisfying to make the changes which protect our environment.
It is fulfilling to see the results on a local level.
Our conscious and thoughtful actions are laying the groundwork for communities and municipalities to spread thoughtful action to create well-being for all.

Comfort #24 – Comfort of right attraction.
As I cultivate uplifting traits of character, I am uplifted in my expression.
My expression acts as a beacon to those of like-mind.
It emits an emotional and spiritual frequency.
Those who are practicing the same uplifting traits of character see it and feel it.
It acts as a guide to our meeting.
We cannot mistake each other.
It is a sure and certain attraction.
It works on a personal level.
It works on a professional level.
When we express honesty, we attract honesty.
When we express kindness, we attract kindness.
Anything in opposition to what we express is repelled.
Our light is a powerful force.
It defines us clearly.
We are what is seen and felt.
We naturally veer away from that which does not match our frequency.
Our authentic practice assures of right attraction.
We are being what we wish to see.
We include every right idea.
Only that which can support us is attracted to us.
Only that which appreciates our role in their life can be close to us.
We are drawn to those who have something to contribute to society.
We are able to build co-operative relationships.
We are able to act as an effective uplifting influence in our communities.
We ignite the spark in others for uplifting action.

Meditation Drawing 3.36 Feeling
Our feeling Nature comes from the Universe Who Cares for Us.
The beautiful feelings we have in Nature, in watching a sunset or in admiring flowers, indicate our ability to perceive things of our Higher Nature.
We respond to tragedies with our compassionate feelings and desire to alleviate pain.
Everything we draw on to respond comes from our feelings.
Our tenderness, our anger, our grief and sadness, our happiness and delight.
We live in a Universe of feelings.
Our feelings motivate us to take compassionate action.
We can use them to join movements to address societal needs.
Our feelings are a barometer which guides us into a new kind of manifestation.
Our higher feeilngs take us out of lower ones, such as hopeless and despair and resignation.
The safest and most secure feeling is one of inner peace.
We take our calming breath and let it permeate our entire being.
When we move ourselves into a state of peace, we can percieve the most effective action.
This aligns us with the Universe Who Cares for Us.
This effective action gently moves us into a better state.
Where the action requires great power, we have an unlimited Source.
Todays’ feelings are drawing us into universal compassion.
We are being empowered by our feelings to draw on greater inner resources of peace.
We let our inner peace expand into effective action for peace around us.
Step-by-tiny step we see the results of more communities moving themselves into peace and well-being for all who live there.
We see the best course of action by establishing ourselves in a haven of inner peace.
This becomes an attracting force for others who desire effective peaceful action.
As our community compassion expands, we share it more and more widely.
Well-being for all is achieved world-wide through this kind of progression.
