Traveling in peace

Pebbles of Peace –

Traveling in peace

I am grateful to have the opportunity to travel, so many opportunities, in fact.

It had been a dream of mine for a long time.

When it began to happen, I was so excited.

Now that I am in a position to travel more often, I appreciate it even more.

I am able to experience more of what interests me in other cultures.

I love discovering history and art and most especially, the little things.

I enjoy sitting in a cafe with a cup of tea while I sketch.

I love hearing the local conversations in languages I do not understand.

I love the rhythm and melodic flow of the different languages.

Sometimes I can hear conversations in several different languages throughout the cafe.

It is fun to hear the waiters address people in the different languages.

It gives me peace to know that there is so much communication across the world, in the little things.

As I gain more knowledge of languages, even on a beginning level, I begin to enter more of the world.

My access broadens my view and I can share it.

I can share it through my sketches, and through the children’s songs which I am writing in different languages as I learn them.

Music is a universal phenomenon, in its’ many and varied forms.

I feel so much peace as I find ways to contribute to a wider view.

The wish and desire of all of us is to live in peace and well-being.

The more we travel and learn from others who go to different countries, the more we can see the values we all share.

We are all interested in sharing the vast resources of the world.

We can all live in peace through sharing.

As we discover our unlimited resources within, we are inspired to find practical ways to share with everyone.

The value of travel is how it unifies us.

  1. Your printed words reflect my thoughts. The passion and curiosity I feel when traveling cannot be measured. That was decades ago while on solo travels. I want back that sense of barely contained excitement. A love of different cultures and the must discover and experience the exceptional love and value within different cultures. I truly believe our differences leads to love and respect.
