Healing Messages 1.180 – I settle myself at each stage
Before I take action, even on small issues, I settle myself.
As I move from one task to the next, I do not want to carry any tension with me.
As I decide what to wear, as I walk into a room, as I am on my way to the kitchen, I settle myself before I begin.
I ground myself.
I take my deep breaths.
I release myself from whatever list was piling up mentally on my way.
This is in great contrast to the anxieties which I pushed down until they overflowed and became panic attacks.
Now, I can feel the little tensions and I address them right away.
I have a right to peace.
I have a right to peace in mind and body.
When I have peace in mind and body, I can feel the peace in my heart and my soul.
This peace is what directs my day.
Each step is taken in peace, or I stop myself.
I settle myself, and then I begin my task with peace.
I am so grateful for this necessity.
I do not collect little tensions all along the way and then have to deal with them as a headache or stomache ache or some other discomfort.
I do not have to deal with the cumulative effects of tension and increasing stress.
My need to settle myself is a good reminder of my long-term healing from the effects of cumulative stress.
It took many steps of awareness and redirection until I was able to gain control of my body and heal.
I am happy to develop patience with myself.
I am relieved to learn techniques and tools to slow myself down.
I am grateful for these reminders during the day that I am worthy of self-care.
