Gift

Meditation Drawing 4.35 – Gift
We gift ourselves peace when we serve it with self-compassion.
We gift others peace when we serve it without judgement or evaluation.
We gift peace to those we do not even know all over the planet as we become aware of the multiple different conditions everyone is living under.
Our true gift is discernment.
It is the ability to gain knowledge and understanding of more experiences and points of view.
As we observe more, we are gifted with a greater sense of what is important in other world communities.
We begin to appreciate the gifts we live with on a daily basis.
We also begin to appreciate the better lives some others enjoy because of their different view from ours.
Societies and civilizations are organized according to their gifts.
There are cultural gifts and societal gifts.
There are gifts of physical endurance and gifts of craftmanship.
There are gifts of community and cooperation.
There are gifts of ritual and celebration.
We gain gifts of appreciation as we travel or learn from those who share their journeys.
I am especially appreciative of those who share their experiences via Youtube.
Adding to world understanding is an incomparable gift.
The down to earth experiences with real people in other countries speak with more relevance than the heightened drama of news cycles.
It is a gift to meet people just like us who live all over the world.
We can gain more from the point of view of their daily lives than anything else.
We all have so much in common with each other even though our language, clothing, food and traditions may be different.
I enjoy seeing this variety.
It reminds me of how universal our shared values of family are even in diverse circumstances.
This is the real gift.

Joyful celebration

A Year Of Joy #21 – Joyful celebration
We celebrate our awareness as we add to the joy in our day.
Because we are willing to find the joy, we expand it.
Joy is an ever-present quality of life when we look for it from within.
We allow the inner joy to overflow into daily life.
It adds up to a daily celebration.
When we celebrate the little things, we become aware of more and more joy.
Practicing a routine for home care is a celebration of order.
Practicing a routine for self-care is a celebration for our own dignity and self-respect.
We can celebrate the beginning of each day through quiet meditation.
We bring joy into our life through our quiet awareness.
Each breath of peace creates room for more joy.
We can celebrate as we see our progress and consistency.
Giving ourselves permission to discover what we love to do is a celebration.
Taking the first tiny steps to move in the direction of what we love to do is a celebration.
We can increase the celebration in our lives as we value our intuition and inner guidance.
We can move oursleves in a transforming direction.
Each step is a celebration.
We remove ourselves from chaos and indecision when we truly value who we are.
We open the connection to the Universe Who Loves Us.
As we listen within, we find more and more to celebrate.
We move in the diretion of our guidance more and more consistently.
We value our goodness and excellence and celebrate it.
We value our insight and imagination and honor it with our commitment and devotion to what comes to us through inspiration.
We give ourselves unqualified love.
We celebrate unconditionally and joyfully every day.

Coming Back Into Love

Pebbles of Peace Pathway 4.32 – Coming Back Into Love
It feels new.
It comes from a different place than it ever has.
It comes from within.
Who knew?
Despite all the discomfitures, all the arguments, all the lies, there is still love.
It has been hidden underneath all the noise.
When I shut out the noise of all the opinions and experiences, I find there is something else.
It is quiet, calm, completely unassuming, as benefits an all-encompassing love.
It is simply…there, here, inside.
It is for always, and always has been.
All the misinterpretation, misinformation, emotional dysfunction, is replaced by this simple quietness.
I have it within me.
I have this love, this love for myself.
When I connect with others, it guides me.
I know things in a different context.
I know what is true.
I know I am loved.

My viewpoint is valid.

Love Note 1.20 – My viewpoint is valid
My idealistic viewpoint is valid because it is based on experience.
I have found that the higher my ideals are, the easier it is to reach them.
They provide a clear course of action which blesses everyone.
My generous attitude is based on the idea of unlimited solutions.
When we listen for them, we receive the ideas which can be translated and manifested into a practical and uplifting life.
My viewpoint is valid because I often receive ideas which I can share in uplifting ways.
I find that resources are naturally attracted to me.
I easily connect with those of like-mind.
I can benefit those who are ready to receive ideas of a higher nature.
Since we are not here to simply consume natural resources, it is vital to develop an attitude of service to the planet.
We are here to live in a community of practical and uplifting ideals which steward the planet.
Seeing my viewpoint reflected in many other places confirms my ideals.
Finding others who can benefit and who also engage in service gives us mutually uplifting experiences.
My viewpoint of using skills and art in practical and uplifting ways is validated by the practical ways a greater sense of community is created.

Direction

Meditation Drawing 4.34 Direction
We can find our direction when we listen within.
Although there may seem to be chaos and confusion all around us, we can feel our own peace.
Peace is a universal direction we can all move in.
We have to find it individually in our heart.
It becomes a part of our conscious core as we do this.
It can never be taken away.
What feel ike interruptions can be dealt with and discarded, because this peace is forever.
We evolve through deep peace.
We bring along what is most useful to us to express peace and to move us in the direction of peace.
We are the ones who direct our path toward peace.
It is our desire to move peacefully.
It is our desire to help others direct themselves toward peace.
This direction is an attracting force.
It is fulfilling when we move in peace.
It is satsifying to see others move in the direction of their greatest peace.
Basing our society and civilization on how we direct ourselves creates the most intelligent choice.
Of course, well-being for all is the most uplifting direction.
It is this love and compassion which draws all of us in the direction of peace.
It provides room for the creativity of all of us.
It provides the means for uplifting inventions which reflect and manifest the care of the Universe for all of us.
It provides comfort and safety and protection as we value one another and cultivate all our talents.
We participate in the power of the uplifting force for good when we move in the direction of peace.

Joyful generosity

A Year Of Joy #20 – Joyful generosity
We move ourselves into generosity through joy.
Once we begin to make room for giving, it increases through joy.
I love the feeling of overflowing love and overflowing joy.
It allows me to give generously.
I love supporting everything and everyone I possibly can.
I am content to support in little ways consistently.
That allows my giving nature to expand.
I can back it up with my time and attention and money.
I can allow it to flow through me as ideas which become writing and art.
I can bring joy into my uplifting conversation.
I can be generous with my understanding to others who are in pain.
I can be gentle with my joy.
My joyful generosity can act as a reminder of joy which always comes from within.
There are many things which remind me of joyful generosity.
As gardens fill with flowers, I am reminded of the generous giving found in Nature.
Color, shape, scent, all add to the joy.
Peaceful communication adds to joy.
Harmony as we all travel to work or school adds to joy.
We bring joy with us and we share it generously when we give respect and dignity to everyone.
It is a relief to communicate with the expectation that our needs will be met.
We all love to give the best service possible.
Our joy expands as we give it.
We can be generous with our time and attention and our expert knowledge.
People feel comforted by what they receive with integrity.
Our day fills with joyful generosity through our active intention to uplift ourselves and others.

Listening Deeply

Pebbles of Peace Pathway 4.31 – Listening Deeply
The long, deep, calming breaths that we take are life-sustaining.
Not just for the oxygen they bring in.
Not just for the heartbeat they regulate.
They are the acknowledgement that all is well.
That the only requirement is to be steady.
There is nothing else we have to do.
Though our world may be rocked, the Universe is still calm.
We still have access to our Inner Guidance.
The disruption of our lives may be sudden or it may be gradual, but change is going to happen.
We still have this deep inner guidance that is always there for us.
Returning to listen for it, is a step toward peace in itself.
More than a storm warning’s message, it tells us where we need to go.
We go deeper in thought and reflection and we listen there.
All is well.
We let the message within be delivered to us.
We listen and then we act on that knowledge.
All is well.

I trust my intuition.

Love Note 1.19 – I trust my intuition
I am discovering a sense within me which is always responsive to solutions.
I naturally feel the right direction to go.
I may be in my car or studying when an idea comes to me which is uniquely appropriate to the situation.
I have learned to listen to my intuition and to take action when I am motivated to do so.
Sometimes, an idea is introduced, but it is not time to take action on it.
I watch as the evidence and resources pile up until it is time to take action and then I do so.
Each time I think about the idea, I enjoy it and nurture it.
When it is the right time, I am naturally moved to action.
I can trust my intuition because I know how to listen calmly and patiently.
I can feel the presence of the idea, and I simply know what steps to take.
I am deeply engaged in listening and not in promoting my own opinion.
That way I can hear the direction and act on it.
I appreciate the living thoughts which I experience and the gentle nudges I get when it is time to present an idea.
I am companioned by the sense of presence and timing, which I attribute to intuition.
