    Stand for itself.

    A decorative item has only its own value.

    It has the value of the heart which created it.

    The soul of its creator.

    The joy that guided the hands.

    The whimsey to express itself.

    The technique for shaping the idea.

    The joy in discovery for each new step.

    The happiness as the idea evolved.

    The fact that others can now see a manifested idea.

    But…no intrinsic value….?

      A Year Of Joy #22 – Joyous purpose

    What is it we love to do?

    How does that fulfill us?

    How do we find our purpose?

    We are guided in our search through listening within.

    In the quiet of our deep breath of peace, we find a message, a sense that we should do something.

    This first tiny step guides us to our purpose.

    By finding the quiet joy of inner listening, we connect to our Source.

    We are led to the joy of doing what we love.

    What we love always expands.

    We give our time to it and it makes us feel good.

    We do excellent work when we do what we love.

    We practice all our wonderful qualities.

    We hone our abilities to fine precision.

    People feel our integrity.

    People feel uplifted by the quality of our work.

    We love fulfilling our purpose of excellence and integrity.

    We add to the quality of life for everyone who does business with us.

    We provide excellent service.

    Our purpose becomes to uplift everyone who comes in contact with us.

    We build a sense of trust.

    We build continuity.

    Our relationship in the community is one of uplifting service.

    What a wonderful purpose to fulfill through our daily life.

    Connecting ourselves to what we love to do spreads joy.

    Love Note 1.21 – I have a distinct  and delightful way of expressing myself.

    I am so very happy to discover and validate who I actually am.

    By paying attention to what I love to do, I have discovered an entirely different person than the one I thought I was.

    Once I aligned with doing what I love, I have discovered my actual talents and my completely different relationship to them.

    By practicing them, I have discovered my style.

    I have a distinct and delightful way of expressing myself.

    What I do aligns with my purpose.

    It is easy to receive ideas and to act on them.

    Resources naturally appear.

    I am so glad to have taken the “risk” to do something different.

    It has completely changed my life.

    My style has evolved the more I invest in doing what I love to do.

    I am able to expand the materials I use and to continue creating things which express my purpose and philosophy.

    A flow is created in which I have unlimited ideas and unlimited joy.

    I live in that flow until an idea is complete.

    Then I feel the release and I let it go.

    When it is time to receive the next idea and create, I go with the flow.

    I love discovering who I am and what I love to do.

    I love discovering my distinct way of expressing myself.

    I feel a connection to the world I never had before.

    Others can see what I do, and they love it.

  • I Have the Right

    Pebbles of Peace Pathways 4.33 – I have the right.

    I have the right to my own peace.

    Regardless of what other people or situations or world economics or politics is throwing at my world, I have the right to my own peace.

    I can find it through every action which I take which comes from sharing an uplifted view.

    I am always so grateful when it resonates with someone else.

    But the main thing is keeping my own thought so tuned to my Source, so that all I can feel, all that comes into my life, is good.

    The unlimited resources of the Universe are for me and for everyone who tunes into them.

    This is my peace.

  • Gift

    Meditation Drawing 4.35 – Gift

    We gift ourselves peace when we serve it with self-compassion.

    We gift others peace when we serve it without judgement or evaluation.

    We gift peace to those we do not even know all over the planet as we become aware of the multiple different conditions everyone is living under.

    Our true gift is discernment.

    It is the ability to gain knowledge and understanding of more experiences and points of view.

    As we observe more, we are gifted with a greater sense of what is important in other world communities.

    We begin to appreciate the gifts we live with on a daily basis.

    We also begin to appreciate the better lives some others enjoy because of their different view from ours.

    Societies and civilizations are organized according to their gifts.

    There are cultural gifts and societal gifts.

    There are gifts of physical endurance and gifts of craftmanship.

    There are gifts of community and cooperation.

    There are gifts of ritual and celebration.

    We gain gifts of appreciation as we travel or learn from those who share their journeys.

    I am especially appreciative of those who share their experiences via Youtube.

    Adding to world understanding is an incomparable gift.

    The down to earth experiences with real people in other countries speak with more relevance than the heightened drama of news cycles.

    It is a gift to meet people just like us who live all over the world.

    We can gain more from the point of view of their daily lives than anything else.

    We all have so much in common with each other even though our language, clothing, food and traditions may be different.

    I enjoy seeing this variety.

    It reminds me of how universal our shared values of family are even in diverse circumstances.

    This is the real gift.
