It is natural in the face of threatening circumstances to be brave.

We respond immediately to protect what we love.

We give our all to hasten to the rescue, and we are effective.

We draw to us whatever resources are necessary for protection and comfort.

Even if it is a new situation and we are not sure where to find what we need, ideas flood in to make sure we can take care of what is vital to us.

We have seen this happen to individuals and to communities.

When a community is hit by a catastrophic weather event, people show up with whatever they have to help.

Even in the face of confusion and chaos, we can hear within our heart what we need to do.

And we can find a way to do it.

When the situation is desperate, we find the strength, we find the clarity of thought, and we take appropriate and effective action.

Sometimes the scale is small; sometimes the scale is large.

We always draw on the same Source.

Sometimes it does not make sense when we are given our task, because it is a new situation.

Since we live in a Universe Which Loves All of Us, we always have access to the best, most timely, appropriate and effective resources to bring well-being to all.

Even when it is not a physical catastrophy, we may be drowning in misunderstanding.

We may be overwhelmed by an avalanche of confusion and dismay.

Our old ways of getting somewhere by the roads we have always traveled may be washed out.

But the resources of the Infinite are always available and always effective as we access them.

Anytime we feel dismay, we take our deep breath.

We access the calm that is available for that moment.

The calm interrupts the rushing, unthinking course of the disaster, with a feeling of Presence.

We will do this over and over again, until we find our way, moment by moment, to a complete and uplifting resolution.

Comfort #46 Comfort of being in alignment with the Infinite

I can tell when I am in alignment with the Infinite by the feeling of peace I experience.

When I am disturbed, I know to listen within to receive a peaceful answer.

I will be told when to take action and which action to take.

I will be able to find my way to new places and new locations.

I will be able to arrive on time.

I will be able to carry out any activity which is necessary to complete a project in a harmonious way.

These are the resources which the Infinite has to give me.

My only goal is to listen within under all circumstances.

This approach replaces relying on my past experiences and opinions.

It replaces relying on the opinions and experiences of other people.

The Universe knows exactly where I am and what I need.

It guides me and protects me and informs me.

I am happy when I am in alignment with the Infinite Universe.

There are any number of activities which provide me joy.

I am doing work which I love to do.

I listen within for the ideas I need to carry it out.

I am guided to learn new skills.

I am guided to apply my new skills in the best way.

Being in alignment with the Infinite is like having the most knowledgeable Mentor, ever.

This Guide is always present when I listen within.

I can turn within with confidence.

The smallest details are taken care of.

Aspects I would not know to anticipate are taken care of.

I am a receptive messenger.

I am happy to accept the new life created by the Universe Who Loves Me.

Moving Forward With Peace

Pebbles of Peace Pathways 4.5 – Moving Forward with Peace

With the assurance that we are doing the chosen work we we love, we can move forward with peace.

We know our work is important and that it is contributing to uplifting society and civilization.

We know that we are doing it well.

We can enjoy the lifting up of everything we see.

We can appreciate the receptivity in every direction we are led.

We can feel the divine and holy moment everywhere we go.

This is possible because we are each divine and holy.

Every breath we take is a tribute to our Creator.

Everyone with whom we communicate comes from the same place.

As we see how much we are united in being here and now, it becomes easier and easier to appreciate how much we share and how much we can share with each other.

I am so delighted to be in a field which is devoted to the lifting up of all its clients.

I share the love of this work with millions of people all over the world.

All it takes is our love and generosity and desire to be of service.

We have a wonderful effect in the world.

I can accept grace along my life path.

I know that I operate the best I can in my daily life.

I know that I do not know the solutions to every question which arises.

So many times, I am rescued by a surprising idea or a coincidence of some kind.

I understand now that it is Grace.

I am living in a Universe Which Loves Me.

Even if I am not aware of the resources around me, they are there.

When I do feel them, it is because of Grace.

Surprising answers and coincidences cause me to listen within.

I pause because something is different.

I have been forced to step off the path of my opinions.

Even my best plan is no match for the Infinite Grace and Care in my life.

I have learned to trust the presence of my Higher Power.

That is the only way I can explain the unexpected and unusual appearance of certain kinds of answers in my life.

I am thrown off track by the confusion and agitation which occur from disturbing circumstances.

I have no answers of my own.

But as I pause and take a deep breath, I create room, a moment, for grace.

And there is my answer.

Grace is the moment which provides peace for a comforting message to appear.

I discover that I am not alone.

There is a governing Presence all around me throughout my life.

I only tune into it when I am in distress.

Then I discover It is there all the time and I can always tune into It.

Grace is not something I know to ask for.

Grace is not something I can prepare for.

But grace is something which I can accept when it does appear.

In times of crisis, it is our duty and privilege to prevent despair.

After considering the consequences of a low energy response to danger, we take the steps to re-energize ourselves.

We draw old and new resources to us.

We listen within to discern the new.

We are always in a place to receive answers when we do this.

We position ourselves to become responsive to them.

We act with poise and balance and courage and certainty.

Even if we do not feel these emotions, we allow them to enter our being.

We create the conditions for inner listening over and over again.

As we hear the same message, it points us in the best direction.

I live in a Universe Which Loves All of Us.

I am responsive to a solution which creates well-being for all of us.

I am uplifted by this possibility.

I want to be prepared to implement the tiny steps which come to me.

The first tiny step which comes to me is to share the message of inner listening.

The second one is to share the message of how precious and loved each one of us is.

There are no barriers to inner listening, once we decide to do it.

We take our first deep breath and let its’ peace spread throughout our being, mind, body, soul and spirit.

I am making room for the next uplifting and comforting idea.

You can do this, too.

The source of my messages is the Uplifting Universe.

We will find our way step-by-step.

It is enough.

It is enough to listen within and to know this fact.

Comfort #45 – Comfort of following the instructions of the Infinite

My earliest steps in healing came from following the instructions of the Infinite.

I began listening within to find a moment of calm.

My consistent practice grew so that I now find this is always the best process.

I am led to a course of action which is timely and accurate.

I take tiny steps so that I am not overwhelmed.

The Universe is kind and requires only that I listen.

The guided action is always within my capacity, even when I have to stretch a bit.

I am grateful to discover my alone time with the Universe.

It knows how to comfort and guide me.

It removes the confusion of many different opinions.

The useful and practical ideas from the Infinite are always available.

It is fun to see new projects come together over and over.

It is a relief to always anticipate useful guidance.

After basing my actions on my experiences, I am happy and grateful to turn everything over to the relationship I have with the Infinite.

It’s much vaster range includes everything I need to know delivered at just the right time in the right way.

I do not struggle to figure things out.

I listen within.

I take my tiny steps.

I am not rushed or hurried.

There is not panic.

The answer will arrive as it always does.

I have the comfort of a record of receiving answers.

I am grateful to share my experience with those who will most benefit.

Just a Person

Pebbles of Peace Pathway 4.4 – Just a Person

The issue of race is being addressed most effectively person to person as well as through the several anniversaries of legal achievements.

The courageous acts of children and their parents to break the race barrier is of inestimable value.

Throughout my teaching career, I had the honor of teaching children of all races with many marvelous and dedicated teachers of all races.

Because of the prevalence of historical attitudes, there is a racial residue we are still dealing with.

By working with everyone and experiencing similar situations, it is possible to get to know more individuals and their stories.

When I am in conversation in multi-racial situations, I always feel an underlying evaluation process.

Am I sympathetic? Aware? Whose side am I on?

Once it is apparent where I stand, and that it is OK, I am accepted more fully into the conversation.

This happens each time, person to person.

As we seek out the experiences which put us in touch with more individuals, we will have more opportunities to lessen this historical residue and help create more awareness within our individual friendships.
