    My path requires refinement as I walk along it.

    I do not want to repeat myself at the same skill level every day.

    I want to improve.

    I also do not want to remain at the same mental level day after day.

    I want new insights.

    In order to become fluent in a skill, I know I must practice it.

    Sometimes the practice can feel boring if I just go through the motions.

    I must bring attentiveness to each repetition.

    As I increase my awareness, I overcome frustration and boredom.

    I become willing to practice, to create the repetitions, until I gain strength and fluency.

    As I wrestle with a new idea, it may  seem impervious to me.

    I just cannot get it.

    I know I must look at it a different way.

    I must find a way to stay engaged.

    Little by little, as I continue thinking about it, some new aspect will emerge.

    A tiny entry point will appear, so that I can gain some understanding.

    It is important to me that I feel a sense of progress.

    It may not happen every day, but I know with practice, I will develop my new skills.

    I will be able to explore new possibilities as I gain experience with my new skills.

    I will be faithful so that I do not skip any details.

    I am willing to become excellent.

    I will find new ways to apply myself so that I can improve my life.

    It is important to me to expand the possibilities for myself.

    It is important to me to be able to inspire others.

  • Comfort of not rushing

    Comfort #7 – Comfort of not rushing.

    It has taken me a long time to quit pressuring myself to do things.

    I had acquired every strategy for getting multiple things done in an intense choreography.

    Now, I allow myself to take my time.

    I even consciously walk slowly around my apartment.

    After a lifetime of rushing, it feels like a complete luxury not to do so.

    Taking a deep breath allows me to slow down.

    I can observe what is going on without getting caught up in the rush.

    I can comfort myself with a cup of tea as I watch the sunlight.

    I can pause in my reading to look up from time to time.

    I can listen for the next idea as I sit down to write.

    With my new view, I can see how caught up I was in the atmosphere around me.

    I choose to make my own atmosphere now.

    I choose the elements which comfort me.

    I move at my own pace.

    I choose different ways of doing things which allow me to remain calm.

    I take the time to add happiness into my day.

    Even small moments allow me to become calm.

    I especially include things I love to do.

    I have continuing projects which allow me to move into happiness and calm.

    I love having the opportunity to reflect.

    I have chosen to have enough.

    I am surrounded by enough.

    In my feeling of enough, I do not rush.

    What I love is having control over my time.

    I live in the comfort of not rushing, of doing what I love to do, one breath at a time.

    Finding Peace Amongst Chaos

    I carry my peace with me.

    Wherever I go, in every situation, I am an element of peace.

    I am able to find my way to whatever I need.

    I am led to people who can help me.

    I can create good situations for myself.

    I am led to serve in ways that support my desires.

    I define who I am by my peace.

    My individuality gives me the deepest peace.

     It places me where I can be of service.

    In the midst of things rushing around me, I can find my peaceful way.

    I write my own life through peace.

    When I listen within, I can see a new view.

    I do not return to the old familiar paths.

    I am refreshed and encouraged.

    I trust my new, guided steps.

    I am in an uplifted place of pure beauty.

    I can see broad possibilities.

    Each step, taken with patience, lifts me up.

    Each step, without hurry or pressure, allows more fulfillment.

    As I move calmly, I am able to see with more breadth.

    My focus enlarges without hurry.

    I am able to see greater possibilities.

    I am able to include more good in my view for everyone.

    Coincidences connect me with others with uplifting views.

    I am in a safe place.

    I am free to grow.

    We are all free to grow in a safe place which uplifts everyone.

    We attract resources which are beneficial for our growth.

    It is a natural attraction.

    Beauty and calm and safety and comfort are natural.

    They are available for everyone as we expand our view.

    It is good to see everyone as precious and worthy and valued.

    I am grateful for each step in my life-path and how it brings so much good to me and to others.

  • Comfort of making beautiful things

    Comfort #6 – Comfort of making beautiful things.

    I have chosen to learn many ways of expressing beauty.

    I am able to explore color, design, texture and to find meaning and satisfaction in so doing.

    I can move beyond words and live in the outflow of my feelings.

    The results may be practical clothing which I design and sew.

    They results may be purely expressive, calming Meditation Drawing.

    I may play with color and weight, getting different shades with colored pencils.

    I may play with color and flow as I add watercolors and move them around.

    I may play with words and seek deeper meaning as I journal.

    I live in creative ecstasy.

    I am so grateful that I have chosen to explore ways of creating beauty in expression.

    It comforts me that I can say things in different forms.

    It uplifts me to know that I have many modes of expression.

    It lets me grieve over circumstances beyond my control.

    It lets me connect with others in ways which go beyond, but often lead into, conversation.

    Being creative allows me to observe.

    As I collect my observations, they commune with one another.

    After a while, a creative expression appears.

    I never tire of watching the sunlight on different leaf shapes.

    I love watching the flow of leaves and sunlight as the wind moves through them.

    I enjoy the seasonal development of micro-systems and what is growing there.

    My small observations let me into a world of appreciation.

    We share a kind of life-rhythm.

    We move in a dance choreographed by the Universe.

    I live in the vision of many beautiful things.

    I embrace their beauty and become beautiful.
