Newness in the World

Shared Global Vision –
Newness in the World
The new attitudes in the world are more powerful than the old, habitual ones.
Their freshness carries its own energy.
They will rise up again, over and over until their persistence overcomes the lifelessness of the past.
New days require new energies, new views, new ways of implementation.
We are progressing in our concept of ourselves.
The new, fresh concept wears away at the old one.
It releases limitations, embraces more happiness for all, and uplifts us with its newness.
It is playful as it introduces new ways of freeing us from fear.
We realize a new happiness and contentment as we become comfortable with a new, kinder viewpoint.
We experience the value of communities which appreciate the skills of all of us.
We work together on projects which benefit the whole community, recognizing the contributions which are made by all of us.
We feel a sense of upliftment as the cruelties and deprivations of the past are removed by utilizing community resources for all of us.
We enjoy greater prosperity through our community gardens and food forests as we practice sustainability.
We share the produce of our own front and backyard gardens through community potluck events.
We share tips and techniques for increasing yield and raising difficult plants.
We contribute to the beauty of our neighborhoods through a variety of flowers and shrubs which attract pollinators.
We create community spaces which encourage conversation and playgroups.
We consolidate our errands and run them collectively to save fuel.
We create dinners for those who are homebound so they do not have to live in isolation.
We are aware of the needs of our neighbors and we work to fulfill them.
We are so blessed and gifted with our new balance and uplifting attitude about our community.

Newness Within the Family

Young Persons Mentor/Uplifting Parenting –
Newness Within the Family
Every time someone comes up with something new, everyone has to adjust to it.
We are all bringing home new ideas, some of which are a great fit, and others which are not.
As we digest what is coming into our home, we strain it through the filters of well-being for all.
It must include courtesies, uplifting vocabulary, aand add to peace and harmony.
It cannot create conflict, competition or be cruel.
Over time, we all refine what is appropriate to share within the family to maintain harmony, even while embracing what is new.
At one point, I was willing for my children to try out a new form of electronic game which they enjoyed at their friend’s house.
It created conflict since there was only room for two to play and we have a large family.
The vocabulary was acceptable. It was okay for them to play at their friends house.
Another time, I was willing to check out a new children’s television channel. (This was before youtube, etc).
The channel content worked. However, it kept my children indoors during daylight hours. It was more important for them to have outdoor play time.
We played family games which encouraged participation for all of us.
Our philosophy as parents was to help everyone along in the game as we all gained competence.
Another activity which brought newness into our family was reading aloud.
We continued this in the form of audio books during family car trips. We still recount stories of unexpected moments in the stories.
We also remember dramatic moments when we were all held enthralled as we waited for the situation to be resolved.
Our shared emotions created times of mutual trust and intimacy.
Even though everyone has gone their own way and has their own view tempered with their new experiences, we have this remembered feeling as we all experienced something new together.
We can take in our new experiences in the world without judging where we are now compared to where we were in the past.
We can accept what is new and appreciate the freshness we felt through past shared experiences.

Good New Ideas

Your Diamond Mind –
Good New Ideas
I listen for the good new ideas which come to me.
Many ideas flit through my mind, but I wait for the ones which give me a really good feeling.
These are the ones which will increase well-being for all of us.
It is important to me to make a contribution to society and to civilization.
I can do this in little ways which are consistent with that philosophy.
Over time, these ideas accumulate and are felt on a larger basis.
My practice of them lends power to the philosophy of well-being for all.
It is not necessary to limit ideas to serve just ourselves.
A good idea, one that is full of goodness, overflows into the environment around us.
It dilutes fear and a feeling of powerlessness or limitation.
A good idea makes us all feel better.
We can always be kinder. We can always release judgement and evaluation.
We simply do not know what challenges others are facing.
We can create room for an uplifting attitude.
Ideas which contribute to an uplifting attitude work for well-being for everyone.
We can be more generous to ourselves and to others.
We all make mistakes and when we endeavor to correct them we are contributing to a more harmonious environment.
We can slow down and take our time and move with grace and forgiveness.
This makes us feel good and contributes to a better feeling all around us.
We can admire what is good in others without being jealous of it.
When we listen within, we receive our own gifts to share.
They are a perfect fit, just as the gifts others receive are a perfect fit for them.
I enjoy the little things which comfort me on a daily basis.
They are the ideas which expand into goodness for all of us.

A new peace

Pebbles of Peace –
A New Peace
I can find peace on new terms.
My terms do not have to be met.
I do, however, have to meet the terms of the Universe Who Loves Us All.
It is not enough to have peace just for myself.
I am only interested in the kind of peace which contributes to well-being for all.
I do have to have peace of mind in order to have clarity.
I do have to have a calm approach in order to insure that the steps I am taking are accurate.
I do have to insure safety and respect in my environment in order to operate.
My new peace begins when I release my judgement and evaluation of the situation.
I can move into a larger view which makes what looks like chaos merge to become part of a mighty stream, such as when you mix paint.
The new color appears to be a random pattern as it merges with the base.
It is actually a pattern in the nature of things and shows how chaos resolves into peace.
When I add a new element into my life, it may not fit.
As I practice it, the merging becomes more harmonious until it is a good fit as part of my routine.
This is true of exercise or the development of any new skill.
It is also true when I am introduced to a new idea.
It is hard to fit it into my previous mode of thinking.
As I look at aspects of the new idea and consider them, my viewpoint expands and I am able to understand a different approach.
This is important when learning a new language or any other form of expression.
I become more at peace as I gain facility.
I release feelings of being frantic or frustrated or fearful.
My ability to allow my viewpoint to enlarge allows me to increase my peace.
I have peace on new terms which benefit all of us.

Newness every day

Loved Cherished Adored –
Newness Every Day
I experienced a lot of repetition in developing my ability to play a musical instrument on a professional level.
Each iteration of repetition moved me to a new level of competency.
I learned how to practice with accurate, inspired repetition.
When I would sit down to play, all that build up of accuracy allowed me to play dependably.
It is not always novelty which creates newness.
One semester, a quartet of us met biweekly to practice our sight-reading.
We played through so many string quartets by many composers we had never heard of before.
It gave us a new perspective on the classical music literature which was available to us.
I remember the feeling of newness and excitement as we began our sessions.
We did not rehearse; this was purely to improve our sight-reading.
The basis for being able to do this was the daily repetition of scales and technique.
This was never approached as a boring exercise.
There are so many ways to practice scales and technique in order to build fluency and strength.
I can still feel the sense of commitment as I would sit down, take my deep breath and put bow to strings.
The feeling of laying the foundation for the rest of the practice session, warming up the fingers of the left hand, strengthening the bow arm.
A deep commitment in terms of time, excellence and all those thousands of tiny steps each day.
The ability to practice is indisputably one of the most important skills I have.
I do not argue with myself when I am developing any other new skill.
I know what it takes. I simply take my deep breath and begin.
This applies to art skills, and study of any kind.
It is rigorous attention which yields results.
My expectation and knowledge of how to build excellence keeps it fresh.

It has taken a lot of “within ” to see the “without”.

Pebbles of Peace Pathways 3.7 –
Peace and Purpose
To be involved in what is most important to me gives me deep peace.
I am so grateful to arrive at this point in self-knowledge.
I am so grateful to have been given the resources in every way to develop my talents.
I am in a position to hone them now.
I appreciate the support around me.
It has taken a lot of “within” to see the “without”.
Now that it is showing up, I actually do feel much better.
It is good that any other path was intolerable.
I listen much better and without pushing.
I wait more patiently instead of backtracking.
I know the completeness of this.
I feel it.
I enjoy it.
I wait for it.
It is right here.

Now is the time for good world relations

Shared Global Vision –
Now is the time for good world relations
When we hear a news story, we have a choice in how we respond.
We can react and take sides or we can ask for a higher view.
The best approach is through inner listening.
The same way we are guided in our personal lives, we can be guided in our attitude about world events even though we are not in charge.
We can send the energy of the harmony we have felt in our own lives.
We can send the energy of peace and thoughtful action.
We can send the energy of compassion for those affected in the immediate vicinity.
We can send the energy of completeness and satisfaction and enough.
This counters the validation of violence.
This clears space for an intelligent solution which benefits all parties.
No one is served by destruction.
There is adequate protection and resources for everyone when thoughtful distribution of resources is applied.
We no longer need to act on personal opinion when well-being for all is the goal.
We can share our resources and look forward to seeing a better sense of life for everyone.
We can value the contribution of communities which are living in peace.
We can appreciate the gifts of their own development of resources and skills.
The masterful strokes of compassion will leave communities and countries in peace.
Families will be able to be nurtured through normal living.
Emergencies and refugees will become a thing of the past.
Effective solutions will have room to appear through unthreatened clarity of thought.
Everyone will breathe more freely.
Children will grow up in safety.
A good quality of life is possible now as we embrace the true Source of it.
All are valued and protected through action which takes place from this basis.

Now is the time for family harmony

Young Persons Mentor/Uplifting Parenting –
Now is the time for family harmony
Even with the best of routines to maintain harmonious space, there are sometimes conflicts.
Now is the best time to reestablish family harmony.
Hug each participant and sit them down and listen to them.
Acknowledge their discomfort and grievance.
Listen within for what to say.
Demonstrate your willingness to find a solution that is above and beyond your experience.
Invite each party to take a deep breath to move themselves into a peaceful state.
Sit quietly as you do this together.
Continue to listen.
Ask each person what they “heard” through their listening.
Listen some more.
Let the new discussion take place about what to do or how to act.
There is always a solution and it comes to each of us.
When we are willing to hear the higher view, it lifts us into it.
Differences create opportunities to move into harmony.
Teaching a listening stance is an important resource for everyone to practice.
It is different from imposing a decision based on the parent’s view.
The parent is aware of how inner listening solves challenges through their practice.
Other family members can be brought into this practical way of solving differences.
There is always time for a hug and for listening to the story, and then for listening within.
Calming down to create clarity of thought is a valuable step.
Because the solution is always available from a higher view, harmony is accessible right now.
Give yourself and your family members the gift of this practice.
Watch how a calming attitude leads toward resolution.
It is the quickest way to family harmony.

Now is the time for good ideas

Your Diamond Mind –
Now is the time for good ideas
I listen within and I receive new, fresh ideas every day.
It is a new habit and a good one.
The ability to receive ideas is powerful because it always moves you forward.
You are able to see new ways of doing things that create effective results.
You can create a new product idea.
You can create a new service idea.
You can create an idea which is uplifting and harmonious and efficient and effective.
All the tiny steps which go into bringing the idea into manifestation are part of the idea’s package.
You learn about each step as you listen within and take action on the previous step.
Your commitment to the idea strengthens it.
It makes it more and more visible to you.
As it matures in your thought, you are guided to when to make it visible to others.
Each idea has its own attracting force.
You are the first one which it attracted.
You are its messenger, its care-giver.
You nurture it, you protect it, you love it, you devote yourself to its manifestation.
You see it through each tiny step and detail of its expression and manifestation.
You are identified as the innovator, the designer, the facilitator.
You take on the roles which are necessary to bring it forth.
You do this by continuing to listen within.
You devotion lets your Source know you are sincere, and It keeps feeding you the next steps.
You exult as you see each new step manifested.
You discover new ways of executing the product idea, new materials, new characteristics.
Your energy attracts whatever is necessary to make your creation a success.
