• Expectations for the World

    Shared Global Vision –

    Expectations for the World

We can turn away from the limitations we hear about in the news.

There are other ways to interpret the vast resources available to all of us on this earth.

I read about them in “Drawdown”, by Paul Hawken, with an analysis of how to conserve and create specific resources all over the world.

I am drawn to writers and speakers who have a generous worldview.

I am grateful they send their ideas into the atmosphere around them.

I love hearing about innovations for collecting moisture from the air.

I love hearing about recycling tires to build insulated houses and to create long-wearing sandals.

I love learning about Intentional Communities and Co-ops and Transition Towns.

I love learning about co-operative manufacturing projects.

I love learning about Mandragon, Spain, an entire co-operative city.

I love learning about Damanhur Intentional Community in Italy with its own currency.

I love learning about the Eco-Camps which are being established all over the world.

There are so many ways being demonstrated that work on small scales.

The solutions offered for large scales also have many of the technologies in place waiting to be applied through the right mind-set.

The expectations we give ourselves depend on the difference between the current world view we are living through and possibilities offered by other world views.

Thinking in terms of a generous Universe, we can adopt good practices.

We can apply generous thinking to our neighborhoods and expand our work based on the results we experience.

This changes our expectations as we see new/old co-operative models working once again.

We can participate in grassroots movements which recognize the importance of each of us and implement this philosophy in community gardens, skills training and valuable community projects.

We can look to the models offered by the Transition Town movement with its hundreds of local variations on how to supply all the needs of a local community.

I have great expectations for the world when I look at what is working.

  • Creating Expectations

    Young Persons’ Mentor/Uplifting Parenting –

    Creating Expectations

Through experiences, I have discovered what is reasonable and what is not reasonable to expect in running a household.

When I am in sync, my ideas compel me to take the tiny steps necessary to implement them.

As I do this, my ideas create more freedom for the people they are meant to serve.

    I create effective household routines.

I create nutritious meals with organic ingredients.

    I create time for myself.

That is the one thing that I did not figure out while I was raising my family.

Expect to get tired, very tired, unless you make resting time for yourself a priority.

With your clear, restful thinking, you can continue to create whatever is necessary for a smoothly running household.

It is reasonable to expect everyone to learn how to do their chores.

It is reasonable to expect everyone to learn to be responsible, since that is the routine.

It is reasonable to expect everyone to enjoy their time together in a clean house.

It is reasonable to expect everyone to talk to each other courteously.

That is what is taught and demonstrated in the home.

Other language has to be left outside.

Monitor what comes into the home through the media.

I only had to deal with one television set and one home phone line when I was raising my family, although computers extended their influence.

You will have to make the rules which create harmonious interaction for yours.

It is reasonable to expect resistance when your standards are different from other people’s practices.

Stand behind what you think is important for your family members.

They wil be able to do excellent work and concentrate on it with limitations on media and on social media.

Listen within to make the best decisions each day, and stick to your routines.

  • Expectation of Ideas

    Your Diamond Mind –

    Expectation of Ideas

The Universe is constantly creating new opportunities.

When we tune into the Universe, we are able to connect with some of them.

I feel so good about receiving wonderful ideas to share.

My quiet inner listening is the way I connect.

My first experience has grown into a daily event.

I expect to receive valuable, uplifting ideas.

They overflow into the atmosphere around me as I share them.

    It creates a wonderful feeling.

    I write, I draw, I post.

I read, I receive more ideas, I listen quietly.

We each have an individual nature which allows us to connect with others in just the right ways.

The ideas come to us when we listen within.

There is nothing so valuable as sitting down quietly and listening to your deep thoughts.

After you let all the noisy thoughts pass through your mind, there are the quieter ones, waiting for the right time to let you know they are there.

They are expecting you, waiting patiently.

After you commence the dialog and commit to it, you can expect them to show up regularly.

Even if you take breaks, once you discover the joy in receiving ideas which fit you perfectly, you will be hooked.

You, too, can live in expectation of ideas to come to you to be expressed.

    You are their perfect witness.

    You are their perfect expresser.

You are the one with the skills and the love and the desire to express those particular ideas.

    They are your muse.

You may have to learn new skills and practice them in order to express the ideas which come to you better and better.

What a great way to expand your life and your expectation!

  • Peaceful Expectations

    Pebbles of Peace –

     Peaceful Expectations

I discover new meaning through listening within.

I expect to hear the ideas I need in order to have a happy day.

When I receive ideas, I align myself with the best sense of who I am.

That is just the way it works for me.

It has not always worked that way for me at all.

I had to cultivate an entirely new vocabulary for myself in order to move in the direction of my dreams.

I learned to release what I did not want in order to make room for what I did want.

It was tricky, because a lot of what I did not want thought it not only belonged to me, it thought it was me.

After a while, I was able to redefine who I am and be who I want to be.

I find it so much more peaceful than living the set of behaviors and beliefs which attached themselves to me through my past experiences.

I have peaceful expectations through doing what I love to do.

I live in deep peace. I live in creative ecstasy.

I do not try to figure out how to get myself to do things that I need to do.

    I do what I love.

I also do the regular things I need to, but it is not a struggle.

I committed myself to being the person I have become.

    I love my life.

I love living in peace with myself.

    I love who I am.

I am she who listens within and moves at the direction of the Divine.

I live in a Universe Which Loves Me.

There is lots of room in here, because the Universe Loves You, too.

You can expect peace when you align with who you are.

  • What do I expect?

    Loved Cherished Adored –

    What do I expect?

    I receive what I expect.

I anticipate what will happen by how I perceive the world.

I can expect happiness or I can expect sadness.

I create the room to receive.

I have discovered a new approach for my life.

I can listen within to redirect my life.

I have learned how to correct for sadness.

When I listen within, and release my opinions and memories, that clears room for a new idea.

    The new idea brings freshness.

As I take a deep breath, I pause.

I interrupt my normal path of thoughts.

It is like there is a little flicker at the end of a long, dark tunnel.

I look at the flicker of light.

I open myself to something new.

In my moment of pause, I can feel the possibilities.

There is a possibility of happiness.

Before I let a memory snuff it out, I move toward the idea of happiness.

    I like this new direction.

I find myself choosing to do something that makes me happy.

I can do this every day.

I can move myself in the direction of happiness.

After a while, this becomes a habit.

I have control over what I think about.

I can always listen within to get myself back on track toward happiness.

    This is my new expectation.

  • Listening and Responding

    Shared Global Vision –

    Listening and Responding

What we agree to determines the kind of world we live in.

When I take in the disturbances and agitation of the world around me, I feel bad.

I have to turn away from the news in order to rediscover my inner peace.

Once I find my inner peace, I can release that into the world around me.

It is a feeling of humility which enables me to do this.

I do not have the personal power to counteract all I hear about.

I have a right to mental, emotional, and bodily peace.

The world has a right to express harmony and abundance in its ecology.

It was designed with beauty and balance.

All our experiences in managing earth’s resources have radically altered this.

Only our humility and respect for the original design can help us restore it.

Well-being for all can be achieved through balance and respect for all of us.

Humility leads us to discover true solutions.

Releasing our fears about limitations dispels greed.

Compassion allows us to distribute the abundant food resources which are being stored.

Respect for everyone’s skills allows everyone to be employed in productive ways.

Co-operatives create effective sharing of labor and other resources.

Co-operative housing and transportation answer multiple needs.

Creative financing allows investment opportunities on small scales.

Micro-loans have proven effective in significantly reducing poverty.

When world leaders appear to have run out of solutions, humility allows the many compassionate and small-scale solutions from grassroots sources to be implemented.

We are all part of world compassion when we want for others what we have for ourselves.

We release fears and limitations through humility.

We trust the design of the Universe.

We move in harmony with the ideas we receive to create good for all.

  • Listening for Help and Guidance

    Young Persons Mentor/Uplifting Parenting –

    Listening for Help and Guidance

The challenges of running a household are often insurmountable.

This is when humility can lead the way.

I have tried organizing chores, setting up schedules, arranging transportation, all while working multiple jobs, and planning menus, grocery shopping and cooking.

My level of tension and exhaustion was something I never could have anticipated.

I turned to some of my spiritual reference books.

The themes I discovered were “radical reliance”, “radiance”, and “humility”.

Pondering these ideas led me to relax.

    My breathing became normal.

I realized that I had enough.

    Enough resources and enough time.

I realized that my chores organization was sufficient.

Everyone knew what to do and how to do it.

I realized that we were all being fed on a regular basis.

I realized that we were all where we needed to be when required.

I was fulfilling my work obligations well.

I released the tension through pondering “radical reliance”.

We live in a Universe Which Loves Us.

    I thought about “radiance”.

We radiate the qualities of light as we allow ourselves to rest and to receeve inspiration.

“Humility” opens us to the idea that we do not have to do it all ourselves.

There is a balance and a flow.

Every requirement for harmonious living comes to us.

We naturally expel tension and self-doubt when we focus on “radical reliance”, “radiance”, and “humility”.

These are unlimited resources and they are available to us all the time.

  • What You Know

    Your Diamond Mind –

    What You Know

What you know only goes so far, no matter how much experience you attain.

When you realize this, you make room for humility.

Ideas begin to flow to you along a different track.

You are open to the Universe in a different way.

You draw resources to you which are from a more abundant Universe.

You are able to express them effortlessly, according to your commitment.

Your clients appear through their connection to this same Universe.

There is a beautiful give and take, a rhythmic flow.

    Only humility produces this result.

There is a divine Universe Which Loves Us.

When we feel the peace of this fact, humility takes us there.

It is actually here, right here, right now, right in front of us.

We have to allow this idea to permeate us.

Humility lets us feel our connection and we prosper according to our new values.

When we desire to express our highest ideas in the most beneficial way, we are led to do this through humility.

We release ourselves from doubts and fears.

    Our limitations dissolve.

We replace them with confidence in our ability to be led.

We see a new path open up to us.

    Each new step is clear.

Through humility, we arrive at our goal.

This prepares us for the next one.

There are no limits when we do what we are led to do.

Our life is shaped in the direction of most service by this same Universe Who Love Us All.
