Comfort of living in peace

Comfort #34 Comfort of living in peace
Discovering what I love to do and doing it, has brought me into alignment with myself.
This gives me peace.
I have closed the distance between what I am doing and what I want to do.
I have conquered the distractions and obstacles which separated me.
Leaving this agitation behind has given me peace.
Each breath which you take in peace permeates your body.
The time you give yourself for that breath sets you on a course for peace.
This happens over and over again, as you make peace your priority.
The stresses and agitations I experienced over a lifetime led me to require peace for my body.
That is when I began my work to slow down and to listen within.
My body was in such a stressful state, that I required myself to just sit for as long as it took to calm down when I thought of doing something.
I was willing to sit for thirty minutes.
The longest I waited to calm down was twenty minutes, but there were many times when I lIstened within for ten minutes.
Gradually, I built new memories of calming down to replace the habits of agitation and stress.
I still monitor myself in order to move calmly through my day.
There is rarely a time to rush or be in a hurry.
The liberation I feel is more than physical.
I have time to enjoy myself.
I move from project to project with a sense of expectancy and joy.
I love watching each new step take place.
I am happy to celebrate it.
As a project moves toward completion, I and relaxed and grateful.
I am happy to have a new way to share inspiration and peace.

Flowing Peacefully

Pebbles of Peace Pathways 3.45 – Flowing Peacefully
When everything is in balance, there is a peaceful flow to the day.
Work and inspiration, preparing food and cooking it, household cleaning activities, taking care of children all fit in a smooth and balanced weave throughout the day.
For me, preparing for this peaceful flow means inspirational study and writing.
When the sense of peace overflows from my study and writing, then it manifests in the other ways.
Putting my study and writing first, and then interspersing it throughout the day even more, lets it integrate into everything I am doing.
I am finding that peace is one of the elements that I include.
It is expressed in my work and conversations.
I am not hurried or harassed.
I am balanced and happy.
Everything that needs to be included is.
Nothing is left out.
There is always time to include what needs to be included.
I am preparing and manifesting peace throughout my entire day.

My life path is not a done deal.

Life Path/Story Mazes – #41 My life path is not a done deal.
Every day that I am open to new ideas proves that my life is not a done deal.
I am always in a postion of listening for the best ideas to improve my life.
As I listen, I am acknowledging that there is a powerful Presence which can guide me.
My attention attracts the best ideas to me.
They are appropriate and appear in a timely manner.
When I take action on them, they prove that I can inject new ideas into my life to make it better.
Right where I am, this can happen.
Right in the moment of my listening, this can happen.
The powerful Presence which I am attracting is the Universe Who Loves Me.
It has my welfare and well-being at the forefront of existence.
It does this for me and for everyone who listens within.
Listening within, as a consistent practice, is the way to receive consistent direction.
Taking action on a consistent basis, is a way to see new life changes happen.
They may happen incrementally as the Universe prepares us for a new role.
They may feel like they happen suddenly as our preparation is complete and we are ready to move to the next step.
The next step will feel just right.
It may take courage to take the next step, but this is what we have been preparing for.
As we continue to listen within, we will continue to be guided.
This gives us reassurance and comforts us as we move into a new life-path.
All our listening and taking tiny steps place us in a new relationship with the Universe.
We are conscious of It.
That makes all the difference.
We are on a track of awareness and appreciation.
We know how to include our life desires through our inner listening practice.

Steadfast

Meditation Drawing 3.47 Steadfast
My steadfast heart guides me.
I am unchanging in my course.
I am guided from within.
This is always new territory, because I am aligning with the Divine.
I have been introduced to my course through inner listening.
All my significant ideas appear there.
I have become devoted to the work I have found.
What keeps me steadfast is my commitment and my satisfaction.
Discovering the depth of what is available is so grounding.
Devotion does that.
Whatever does not belong along this course is very obvious.
Distractions are not welcome.
The purity of my alignment keeps me whole.
My inner listening refines my approach.
I am constant and determined.
My allegiance is to my heart’s desire.
I keep my balance through being steadfast.
My results confirm my devotion.
My uplifting work moves me and others into a higher frequency.
The spark which guided me into this work shines brigher and brighter.
It is a steadfast light which envelops me now.
My heart does not change, but my life does.
Everything is the same, but I see it differently.
I live in a different kind of light, prosperity and wholeness.
My body, heart, mind and soul are aligned as I pursue my steadfast course.

Comfort of living with Nature’s cycles

Comfort #33 Comfort of living with Nature’s cycles
When we lived off-grid in a tiny house in the middle of 43 acres of woods, I became acutely aware of Nature and Her seasons and cycles.
From my large city upbringing, surrounded by neighborhoods and concrete and steel, I became attuned to the softness and caresses of Nature’s gentle changes.
Most especially noticeable, were the subtle scents of delicate seasonal flowers.
These scents changed monthly as new blooms appeared.
I loved discovering their unique shapes and colors.
The largeness and immensity of high winds in sixty-foot trees was overwhelming in its majesty as storms built up.
The scents in the air would change as the storm began its slow, unstoppable, invincible, persuasive motion into our area.
It had a build-up phase and a draining-off phase as the motion dissipated in its own time.
We were helpless in the face of such immense power.
We could witness, but not affect, any part of this cycle.
A quieter sequence was the progression of light down into the valley from one side in the morning. It moved up the same side as the sun moved overhead to the other side of the valley.
We watched the sun-line in its cycle as we were flooded with light during the day and watched the beautiful dusk, and then dark, move in for its cycle.
The sounds of the day and of the night comforted us in their cycle.
In the heat of summer, we would hear dragonflies as they buzzed across our meadow.
Hummingbirds had a distinctive and powerful whrr as they battled around the feeders.
Each night, the soft sounds of bats would float across the meadow as they ate their weight in insects.
The sound of the whippoorwill and coyotes howling from ridges, and owls answering across the forest had their own frequencies and rhythm.
The night hosted different scents.
The moonlight moved across the meadow softly and irrevocably, hidden from time to time by cloudy night skies.
The quiet of the deer and the playful spiraling of the vultures as they followed thermals in the sky became a part of the rhythm of our life, as did many other aspects of Nature and Her cycles.

Daily Peace

Pebbles of Peace Pathways 3.44 – Daily Peace
I am noticing a calmer, smoother flow in all my activities.
Even in the midst of large, life-changing ones, there is such deep calm and peace.
In the little things, I am finding myself working with a distinct lack of franticness.
Each step I take is prepared, and not by me.
Things are prepared for me to do and I am doing them.
There is no backtracking, no second -guessing.
Each step is prepared to be taken, and once taken the next step is prepared.
I am no longer looking ahead, because what is here is so clear.
I know that whatever is next is also clear.
This daily peace extends into my work, my chores, my conversations, everything.
It is a permeating peace.
I see things that used to be disturbing, and now all I see is how they are prepared, too.
It is all for the peace.

My steps are refreshing as I look at my life differently.

Life Path Story Mazes – #33 My steps are refreshing as I look at my life differently.
Each step of my life got me to this point.
Some were difficult, a few were easy.
Perhaps it is because I remember the difficult ones more vividly.
The situations which dragged me down required more strength.
So I grew in strength.
The situations which lasted a long time made me impatient.
So I grew in patience.
Some situations had no known solutions.
I learned to use my imagination.
I became creative in many directions.
Some situations required new knowledge.
So I acquired more skills.
I have a wide variety of skills now.
Anything which went wrong had to be corrected.
I learned to look at details very carefully.
I was challenged in my view of life.
New people brought their views.
I acquired a wider viewpoint.
I am so far away from my original life and its priorities.
I am in a completely new place with different priorities.
I figure more strongly in my own life.
I value what I have learned.
I appreciate the new input from so many sources.
I am able to live more freely and with wide appreciation for other viewpoints.
I am grateful I was given the opportunities to grow in so many ways.
Every day presents new vistas and new opportunities for me.
